Once we had some still frames it was time to run'em all together. Kalle Sandzen, once again proving he is the hardest working man in the digital business, took us through adobe after effects. Karin Ahlin showed some of her fine paper animations and helped us when we were lost....
Our third night was spent photographing our custom made glass objects. Each group made a small studio with backgrounds made from whatever was to hand and lightboxes hijacked from the graphics department.
The workshop got under way the following sunday. Controlled Chaos insued with 8 people making glass simutanously.There was a good feeling in the workshop with beginers and more experienced glass types getting stuck in.
MONKEYCANDO is a week long workshop held at Konsfack Art School in the Kingdom of Sweden. It's a student initiative combining the talents of some of the most gifted chimps I know. First and foremost, its about Glassblowing. However, monkey don't stop there. We continue with low tech animation and film editing. Plan is to make some motion poetry. Sound complicated? Nah...a monkey could do it...
